As a theme, we’re looking for companies that can benefit from the growth of technology. Over the past year, we’ve been cautious about budgeting issues and companies cutting down on their IT spending.
While Big Tech has continued to deliver solid earnings, they have not come without a cost. We’re seeing another round of job cuts in an attempt to curb costs, but we do think that this means that there is some slowdown in the numerous endeavors that these companies have been taking.
But, these are the best in Tech, and it’s only natural that we would see less of an impact on them, than the rest of the technology cohort. Nevertheless, we think that the themes of cloud growth and generative AI are now, perhaps starting to gain traction, and we’re looking for companies that could benefit from that trend, outside Big Tech.
